Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable AML detection controls for money laundering and terrorist financing risks.
- Own large projects, technical roadmaps, and delivery.
- Shape product decisions and explain customer problems and expected impact.
- Improve system reliability, security, and technical quality.
- Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the team.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, analysts, and AML subject matter experts.
Requirements
- Expertise in the relevant technical discipline and understanding of the team’s technical and business domain.
- Ability to design systems for long-term change and scale.
- Experience mentoring and coaching other engineers.
- At least 5 years of experience building backend systems, distributed systems, or data-intensive systems.
- Experience with AML or financial crime is preferred but not required.
- Experience running machine learning or large language models in production is preferred but not required.
