Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build, test, debug, deploy, and enhance scalable, secure software solutions using AI-assisted development tools.
- Support AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, automation solutions, and context and harness engineering.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, performance, and business relevance.
- Contribute to knowledge and context systems, retrieval workflows, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support.
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices while learning new tools and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, certifications, hackathons, capstone projects, or personal projects.
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, data engineering, or automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes Python, R, MATLAB, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#; Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development tools, APIs, automation platforms, databases, and Git.
Benefits
- Base salary of $100,000 per year plus eligibility for a discretionary annual performance-based bonus and wellbeing benefits.
- Hybrid work arrangement requiring three days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Mississauga or Toronto, Ontario.
- Rolling onboarding through 2026 and 2027, with final start dates determined by business need and position availability.
