Base Salary
$130k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ingest and normalize data across Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, other chains, and custody platforms.
- Integrate with DeFi protocols to query on-chain state and track positions.
- Build services connecting on-chain activity to off-chain reporting for balances, transfers, margin positions, settlement, and fees.
- Develop APIs and UIs that provide real-time visibility into DeFi positions and risk.
- Model DeFi instruments alongside traditional finance equivalents for unified reporting and risk.
- Design, model, and program systems across multiple languages and technologies.
- Maintain legacy systems and develop greenfield software with emphasis on testing, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Provide on-call support as needed and drive projects through completion.
Requirements
- Multiple years of server-side development experience.
- Hands-on experience with EVM internals, smart contract ABIs, and libraries such as ethers.js or web3.js.
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols including AMMs, Uniswap, Compound, options or structured products, and staking.
- Understanding of multi-chain architectures, L1s, L2 rollups, bridging, and cross-chain data challenges.
- Experience or exposure to Solana or other non-EVM chains is a plus.
- Experience with oracle systems such as Chainlink or on-chain pricing is a plus.
- Ability to reason about DeFi protocols from a financial perspective.
- Willingness to learn Clojure and confident JVM knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
- Understanding of micro-service architectures, domain-driven design, domain modeling, functional paradigms, and type theory.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQS, RabbitMQ, Linux, Ansible, Nginx, and Git.
