Responsibilities
- Develop mission-critical backend features and services for the Workato platform and AI assistant.
- Build high-performance gateways and routing components.
- Build server-side infrastructure for logging and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, SRE, and AI teams to address high availability, scalability, and AI product requirements.
- Contribute throughout the development lifecycle by writing testable, efficient code and evaluating architectural improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- At least 8 years of industry experience, including 4+ years of backend development with Go.
- Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems and understanding large web application components such as databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, and monitoring.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and configuration.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes Ruby on Rails, open-source contributions, Docker, Redis-based caching, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps, ML, DBA, enterprise applications, and third-party APIs at scale.
