Responsibilities

  • Build technology and architecture for world-class end-to-end systems.
  • Build and maintain services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design and execute performance and load tests.
  • Debug and profile applications and improve production-quality code.
  • Use performance insights to influence design and architecture decisions.
  • Test cloud-native applications and work with test automation and observability practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering team members and communicate effectively.

Requirements

  • Strong Java development experience.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining services with Spring Boot.
  • Experience designing and executing performance and load tests.
  • Strong debugging and profiling skills.
  • Experience with k6, Gatling, JMeter, or similar performance-testing tools.
  • Familiarity with Node.js and frontend experience with Angular and/or React.
  • Experience with test automation, cloud-native applications, and observability tools.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and production-quality code.
  • Ability to improve existing codebases and bridge functional correctness with non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborative communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
