Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Angular web applications and mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Collaborate with product teams, designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
- Build, test, and deploy high-quality features focused on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Own technical challenges and drive solutions from idea through implementation.
- Mentor engineers through knowledge sharing, feedback, and technical guidance.
- Contribute to technical decisions, architecture, engineering practices, code quality, and documentation.
- Proactively improve reliability, performance, developer experience, and technical quality.
- Use data and feedback to guide decisions and collaborate with global IKEA stakeholders and retailers.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices and experience working in agile teams.
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript, or similar frontend frameworks such as React.
- Experience with mobile application development.
- Ability to take technical ownership and drive complex engineering topics.
- Effective collaboration across engineering, product, and design.
- Experience mentoring others and contributing to technical discussions and decisions.
- Responsibility for code quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and improvements.
- Backend technology and infrastructure experience is a plus.
- Experience working across multiple components or products, understanding networks, integrations, and data flows, and influencing technical direction is a plus.
