Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance avionics software solutions for advanced aerospace products.
  • Develop safety-critical embedded systems software using C, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
  • Apply DO-178C software development and verification processes.
  • Perform structural coverage analysis and support unit-test automation.
  • Contribute to software architecture, embedded-systems design, and system-level integration.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Hardware, Software Architecture, User Experience, and Product Management teams.
  • Use configuration-management and change-control tools including DOORS, JAMA, SVN, and JIRA.
  • Identify technical challenges, develop scalable solutions, and support continuous engineering improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of industry experience in avionics software engineering.
  • Strong programming experience in C and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink software development.
  • Understanding of DO-178C software development and verification processes.
  • Experience with structural coverage analysis and unit-test automation tools.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with DOORS, JAMA, SVN, and JIRA.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, software architecture, and system-level design.
  • Experience with Heads-Up Guidance Systems (HUD) and Heads-Down Display Systems (HDD) is preferred.
  • Exposure to safety-critical embedded software development in aerospace or avionics is preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of enterprise engineering programs, large-scale product development, process improvement, and collaborative global engineering environments is preferred.
