Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation tools and systems that improve operational efficiency and customer onboarding.
- Develop AI- and data-driven solutions to predict user risks and prevent fraudulent or malicious activity.
- Collaborate with product managers, operations, compliance, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Serve as a technical role model and support the growth of junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong software engineering skills with backend or frontend development experience using Kotlin, Java, React, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building scalable, robust automation or workflow systems.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and propose effective technical solutions.
- At least 1 year of experience leading or mentoring engineers is preferred.
- Experience applying AI or machine learning to automation or risk detection is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and cloud-based automation or workflow tools is preferred.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers is preferred.
- Fintech, payments, startup, compliance, risk control, or onboarding experience is preferred.
