Staff Full Stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop modular and scalable full-stack applications, including frontend applications and backend services.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, research, development, code reviews, deployment, and testing.
- Design and develop single-page applications and integrate them with backend services through REST and gRPC APIs.
- Contribute to presentation-layer standards, best practices, maintainable application design, and user experience.
- Collaborate with User Experience, Business Analyst, and QA teams.
- Address API design, resiliency, service-to-service communication, performance, security, and production support across the application stack.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of frontend development experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 5+ years of backend development experience using Java and Spring or Spring Boot.
- Strong experience with single-page applications, REST and/or gRPC APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, microservices, and distributed application development.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, networking, operating systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, containerized application environments, testing, debugging, performance, security, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, observability, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, enterprise identity providers, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AI-assisted development tools, Agile/Scrum, and wealth management or financial services.
