Responsibilities
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, catalog items, workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI Actions, and related platform components.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, webhooks, Integration Hub, MCP, and iPaaS platforms.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot performance issues, optimize scripts and flows, and maintain scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Support ITSM and HRSD applications, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and HR-related workflows and automations.
- Administer roles, ACLs, permissions, and other platform access controls in accordance with security and audit requirements.
- Resolve complex platform-level incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with infrastructure, security, vendors, and other technical teams.
- Gather requirements, prioritize backlogs, design solutions, and deliver enhancements through development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Establish reusable development standards and support ServiceNow releases, upgrades, documentation, runbooks, and user enablement.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing and administering ServiceNow, ideally across ITSM and/or HRSD.
- Strong JavaScript skills, including ServiceNow scripting APIs such as GlideRecord and GlideAjax.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Service Catalog development.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting REST/SOAP integrations, OAuth, webhooks, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong understanding of ITSM processes and their translation into ServiceNow solutions.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across ServiceNow and connected systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
- Preferred experience includes HRSD, ITOM, Workday, identity or HR platforms, ServiceNow AI/GenAI and Now Assist, MCP, Service Portal, custom widgets, HTML, CSS, Workato, or other iPaaS platforms.
- ServiceNow CSA or CAD, or ITIL 4 Foundation certification, is preferred.

- Compensation information of $85,000-$105,000 CAD is stated as total compensation for candidates hired to work in Ontario and is excluded from base-salary extraction.
