Responsibilities
- Design and productionize LLM-powered risk detection, alert explanation, conversation summarization, and reviewer-assistance copilot features.
- Implement explainability using SHAP, LIME, and attention visualization, ensuring model outputs are traceable, versioned, and reproducible.
- Build RAG and LLM-based risk-analysis pipelines for web-scale communication data.
- Design real-time and batch processing and scoring pipelines using Kafka and Spark.
- Optimize production inference latency and token efficiency.
- Implement experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD, and monitoring for model drift, bias, and performance degradation.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, data scientists, SRE, compliance subject-matter experts, and operational teams.
- Support and improve an enterprise-grade ML application in production.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud-based applications and 4+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
- Strong foundation in information retrieval and natural language processing, with expertise in transformer architectures and LLM integration.
- Expertise in functional programming and JVM-based languages, including Python, Kotlin, and Java.
- Experience integrating models into cloud-scale, microservices-based architectures.
- Hands-on production Databricks experience using Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks Workflows.
- Experience with one or more of PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, NeMo, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, ECS, Lambda, and Bedrock.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and messaging stacks.
- Operational experience supporting an enterprise-grade ML application in production.
- Preferred experience building production-grade ML pipelines, APIs, and MLOps frameworks such as MLflow and Kubeflow.
- Preferred familiarity with data engineering, distributed systems, scalable architectures, vector databases, model serving, and inference optimization.
- Experience in surveillance, fraud detection, fintech, or risk systems is preferred.
