Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, maintain, optimize, and refine AI models and algorithms through the Chariot platform.
- Write quality software in Go and Python and design performant, scalable services.
- Contribute to product direction, technical design, implementation, deployment, and software development lifecycle execution.
- Participate in or lead technical design discussions and collaborate with product teams.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers through onboarding, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Support cloud-neutral, event-driven, microservice-oriented product development.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Excellence in Go, C++ 17 or higher, Java 11 or higher, C# 9 or higher, or Rust, plus proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, cloud architecture, and OpenStack.
- Experience designing and developing performant, scalable services and relational and non-relational database architectures.
- Ability to lead the software development lifecycle from product requirements through technical design, implementation, and deployment.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration, design discussions, knowledge sharing, mentoring, coaching, onboarding, and code reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or similar experience.
- Candidates must be a US person, defined as a US citizen, US national, or Green Card holder.
- Preferred experience includes synchronous and asynchronous programming, concurrency, PyTorch, TensorFlow, RESTful, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs, distributed computing, NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and workflow automation.
