Responsibilities
- Design and optimize Pigment’s proprietary formula and query engine.
- Build and maintain backend services that process and aggregate millions of records in real time.
- Address scalability, performance, and reliability challenges across high-volume datasets.
- Develop frontend functionality using React and collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers.
- Translate functional requirements into elegant, simple software designs and deliver production code.
- Participate in the full application development lifecycle, including design, coding, and keeping the production platform running.
- Influence architecture decisions, test new ideas, and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing object-oriented software with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
- Proven experience with JavaScript, CSS, and JavaScript libraries or frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Strong software engineering skills and the ability to translate functional requirements into working code.
- Ability to understand product and customer needs and suggest innovative ideas.
- Fluent English; French is not required.
- Collaborative, problem-solving attitude with humility and willingness to grow.
