Responsibilities
- Build and maintain shared cloud infrastructure and developer tooling across compute, networking, and deployment platforms.
- Champion AI agent adoption by identifying use cases, prototyping solutions, and turning successful work into supported reusable capabilities.
- Build AI agent foundations, including Claude integrations, callable tools and services, and orchestration.
- Implement observability, guardrails, and cost controls for AI agents and platform tooling.
- Manage infrastructure with Terraform and contribute to the Azure-to-GCP migration.
- Partner with product engineers by creating documentation, templates, and examples that encourage AI adoption.
- Drive technical decisions, collaborate across teams, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Strong experience with GCP; Azure experience is preferred.
- Experience with containerisation using Docker and deployment on Kubernetes or Cloud Run.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Proficiency in at least one of .NET/C#, Node.js, or Python.
- Observability experience with Datadog, GCP Cloud Operations, or Azure Monitor.
- Enthusiasm for AI agents and building with tools such as Claude; machine-learning or model-training experience is not required.
- Track record of driving adoption through tools and documentation used by engineers.
- Ability to lead technical decisions, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers.
