Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices-based backend architectures.
- Develop high-performance parallel and asynchronous pipelines for processing large volumes of image data.
- Design database access and retention strategies for image and metadata systems and ensure database scalability.
- Design and develop reliable APIs with FastAPI.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into software solutions.
- Package applications in Docker containers and operate and scale them in Kubernetes.
- Apply Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles throughout development.
Requirements
- Significant practical experience building complex, data-intensive backend systems.
- Deep experience designing and scaling microservice architectures using Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
- Excellent Python programming skills, particularly for parallel data processing.
- Strong experience designing and developing interfaces with FastAPI.
- Practical experience scaling relational and non-relational databases under high load.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- C++ software development experience is preferred for performance-critical image-processing modules.
