Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable microservices-based backend architectures.
Develop high-performance parallel and asynchronous pipelines for processing large volumes of image data.
Design database access and retention strategies for image and metadata systems and ensure database scalability.
Design and develop reliable APIs with FastAPI.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into software solutions.
Package applications in Docker containers and operate and scale them in Kubernetes.
Apply Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles throughout development.

Significant practical experience building complex, data-intensive backend systems.
Deep experience designing and scaling microservice architectures using Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
Excellent Python programming skills, particularly for parallel data processing.
Strong experience designing and developing interfaces with FastAPI.
Practical experience scaling relational and non-relational databases under high load.
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
C++ software development experience is preferred for performance-critical image-processing modules.

Hybrid work arrangement with 1–2 days per month at the Bucharest location.
