Senior Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack/Infrastructure

- Provide technical guidance to technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using Java, Python, Node.js, React, Angular, and Spring Boot.
- Architect scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with performance and resiliency.
- Drive platform engineering, CI/CD automation, DevOps automation, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams to embed AI into software development lifecycle pipelines and operational dashboards.
- Maintain and optimize VMware environments including ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter.
- Design automation workflows for provisioning, monitoring, and compliance enforcement.
- Develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models for capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, and simulation test classification.
- Integrate machine learning models into infrastructure platforms for predictive alerts, dynamic workload orchestration, and real-time decision-making.
- Review and debug production code and influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
Requirements
- Formal training and certification in software engineering concepts plus at least five years of applied experience.
- At least two years of experience leading technologists in solving complex technical issues.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with deep expertise in one or more technical disciplines.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL/NoSQL databases, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Express.js, and React or Angular.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, event-driven architectures, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, MLOps tools, and cloud-native deployment.
- Experience deploying and monitoring LLMs using RAG, vector databases, and GPT-based models.
- Knowledge of AI risk, bias mitigation, and model governance frameworks.
- Ability to lead technical design discussions, work independently with little to no oversight, and serve as a function-wide subject matter expert.
- Preferred qualifications include practical cloud-native experience and collaboration with product managers, designers, and stakeholders on technical requirements and solutions.
