Responsibilities
- Implement Zero Trust-compliant application and network security services and controls.
- Configure and support next-generation firewalls and application delivery products.
- Work within DoD enterprise networks, including defense infrastructure, DMZs, and application security environments.
- Apply knowledge of cryptography protocols and standards, including TLS, mTLS, hashing algorithms, and PKI.
- Support cloud and on-premises cloud environments and in-line break-and-inspect solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience implementing Zero Trust-compliant application and network security services and controls.
- At least 2 years of experience with next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Versa, Cisco, Fortinet, or Juniper.
- Knowledge of cryptography protocols and standards, including TLS, mTLS, hashing algorithms, and PKI.
- Knowledge of application delivery products such as F5, Nginx, A10, or NetScaler.
- Ability to work within DoD enterprise networks, including DMZ and application security environments.
- Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain access to classified information.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred experience with in-line break-and-inspect solutions, Office 365, Teams, DoD Cloud, and on-premises cloud environments.
- Preferred knowledge of NIST 800-53, FIPS, DoD STIG, and FedRAMP.
