Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, define, and develop the partner and developer experience platform.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and secure microservice architecture.
- Design and evolve RESTful APIs, MCP tools, and customizable components for products and partner integrations.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical RFCs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers in a cross-functional team.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production service performance and reliability.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Optionally participate in compensated on-call support and interviewer activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Expertise in testable, maintainable, scalable, and extensible architecture.
- Knowledge of distributed architecture patterns and anti-patterns.
- Proficiency with REST APIs, including authentication and authorization topics.
- Proficiency with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with MCP server development and agentic AI throughout software development.
- Strong automation testing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bonus: Terraform, event-driven architecture, scalable distributed systems, financial technology, and React experience.
