Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build and manage Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows.
- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible and manage configuration automation.
- Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes-based microservices deployments.
- Administer and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including RDS, MongoDB, and Couchbase.
- Support VoIP and telephony infrastructure using Asterisk, Kamailio, and RTPEngine.
- Maintain Apache Kafka messaging and streaming platforms for real-time processing and integration.
- Improve monitoring and alerting with Datadog, Netscout, and ELK, and manage incident workflows through OpsGenie and Slack.
- Diagnose infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and optimize system performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely support for critical systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments and maintain smooth system operation.
- Create infrastructure documentation, share knowledge, mentor teammates, and support onboarding.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a related IT bachelor's degree is preferred, and equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience are considered.
- At least four years of experience in DevOps or a similar role focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, and complex environments.
- Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with Chef or Ansible, Bitbucket or similar CI/CD tools, and Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Experience managing Docker and Kubernetes containerized applications.
- Proficiency managing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases, including RDS, MongoDB, or Couchbase.
- Understanding of VoIP and telephony infrastructure, SIP, Asterisk, Kamailio, and RTPEngine.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Netscout, and ELK.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka messaging and streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability management, static code analysis, and compliance frameworks.
- Preferred experience includes high-availability telecommunications infrastructure, Cisco VoIP environments, and administering, tuning, optimizing, deploying, and updating Couchbase or MongoDB instances and datasets.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, problem-solving, collaboration, confidentiality, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and support global teams or time-sensitive escalations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and modern virtual communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.
