Responsibilities
- Guide strategic customers through architecture, data engineering, identity resolution, audience activation, and agent deployment for customer data and marketing projects.
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to drive Customer Lake adoption across assigned territories.
- Advise CMOs, MarTech leaders, data engineering leaders, and marketing and analytics teams as a trusted technical expert.
- Deliver workshops, presentations, demonstrations, POCs, and customer-facing technical collateral.
- Influence Product and Engineering roadmaps using field-derived customer and market insights.
- Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in customer-facing data environments.
- Establish and refine sales qualification and POC intake processes to improve engagement quality and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with GSIs and third-party consulting organizations on marketing and customer data initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of CDP, MarTech, or customer data engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role.
- Proven experience designing and delivering client-facing customer data and activation solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing data and AI applications for marketing and customer engagement, including identity resolution, segmentation, personalization, next-best-action, and agentic AI workflows.
- Deep familiarity with CDP and MarTech/AdTech platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe, Segment, Treasure Data, or Braze, including implementation, identity resolution, activation, and migration strategies.
- Strong understanding of first-party and third-party data, enrichment data, identity graphs, consent and privacy signals, and marketing activation destinations.
- Experience operationalizing customer data as governed data products, including audience definition in SQL or Genie, reverse-ETL and activation pipelines, and metric, identity, and consent governance in Unity Catalog.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP and understanding of cloud-native data ingestion, activation, and governance.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Full professional proficiency in Japanese is mandatory; business-level English proficiency is preferred.
