Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead work across machine learning infrastructure and modeling systems.
- Modify training and serving infrastructure to support new modeling techniques and products.
- Prototype infrastructure, automation, workflows, and tooling while analyzing and improving performance.
- Improve the robustness, reliability, and usability of ML infrastructure.
- Collaborate with modeling teams and ecosystem partners to identify use cases, research emerging technology, and set trade-offs between immediate wins and long-term stability.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in Python or C++.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, or fine-tuning.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 2 years of experience with Generative AI techniques or related concepts such as large language models, multimodal systems, large vision models, language modeling, or computer vision.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
