Base Salary
$187k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end Search and Discovery systems and next-generation AI products.
- Design, optimize, and operate machine learning systems across serving, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
- Drive key developments, resolve technical blockers, and maintain strong execution.
- Ensure sound machine learning design and operational excellence.
- Use metrics to identify major opportunities and improve search relevance and quality.
- Collaborate with partner teams and senior Search leadership to align technical direction.
- Recruit and develop world-class technical talent.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience in technology companies.
- Broad and deep knowledge of information retrieval, deep learning, large language modeling, data processing, and real-time serving.
- Strong track record delivering large and complex systems with significant business impact.
- Strong system design and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and functions.
- Preferred: experience with search and recommendation systems, search relevance, and query understanding.
- Preferred: experience as a technical lead or manager of teams.
