Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop post-training and reinforcement learning solutions to advance Gemini model capabilities.
- Develop, maintain, and improve core reinforcement learning libraries, tools, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with DeepMind and Google partners to apply models in critical product areas.
- Lead technical direction and project teams as applicable to the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with reinforcement learning, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: experience developing reinforcement learning algorithms, frameworks, or infrastructure.
