Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide development of personalized, high-quality recommendations for the YouTube Shorts experience.
- Design and implement machine learning technologies and algorithms to improve Shorts recommendation quality across Home, Watch Next, Shorts First, and Notifications.
- Drive significant viewer growth through improved recommendation systems.
- Work across the entire recommendation system stack.
- Lead cross-team and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience in software development.
- Three years of experience building and deploying production recommendation system models, including retrieval, prediction, ranking, or embedding models.
- Experience building architecture across different modeling domains.
- Eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Three years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Three years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
Benefits
- US base pay of $207000 - $300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
