$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the conception, coding, and deployment of data science models at scale.
- Provide guidance to business leaders and stakeholders on using data for critical business needs.
- Develop, maintain, and scale web services that orchestrate machine learning functions.
- Work with divergent data types, data scales, and petabyte-scale data.
- Partner with data scientists to implement and refine algorithms and build robust model training and deployment pipelines.
- Discover, extract, and clean data from complex sources for large-scale machine learning analysis.
- Run A/B tests, analyze results, and communicate model impact to technical and business stakeholders.
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential customer benefits.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience developing predictive models, performing statistical analysis, or equivalent software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Deep knowledge of data science tools and frameworks including Scikit, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, and Spark.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, performance complexity, version control, and production-ready coding.
- Experience with web services and API design.
- Experience integrating applications and platforms with cloud technologies such as AWS and deploying highly scalable software for millions or more users.
- Practical experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning, generative AI techniques including autoencoders, GANs, and VAEs, and GPU acceleration using CUDA and cuDNN.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
