Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical figure for the Infrastructure Assurance team in the APJ region.
- Educate product/platform engineers on security best practices for multi-cloud and Kubernetes.
- Provide security design guidance and conduct security reviews for infrastructure and services.
- Establish authority in security matters and understand team roadmaps and priorities.
- Mentor junior team members and help remove technical roadblocks.
- Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and other teams on multi-functional projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of cloud or infrastructure engineering experience.
- 2+ years of infrastructure security experience.
- Experience securing infrastructure in a multi-account AWS environment.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management.
- Experience with security reviews and risk assessments in cloud environments.
- Understanding of modern DevOps engineering and containerization.
- Familiarity with network security controls and security protocols.
- Knowledge of SOC 2, FedRAMP, CIS Critical 18, and PCI DSS frameworks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with varying technical expertise levels.
- Capability to lead cross-company objectives and navigate ambiguous situations.
