Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute integration and test plans, procedures, and cases verifying functionality, performance, and requirements compliance.
- Lead Factory Acceptance Testing, functional testing, system and integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Maintain traceability among requirements, verification activities, and test artifacts.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using HP ALM, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
- Track test execution status and produce detailed reports and artifact packages for stakeholders and government customers.
- Manage defects, change requests, and action items through resolution.
- Facilitate test readiness reviews, peer reviews, and customer-facing test planning sessions.
- Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and program leadership on testability and schedules.
- Support requirements verification matrices, interface documentation, and architectural artifacts.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote integration and verification best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline with 4+ years of professional experience, or a master's degree with 2+ years of professional experience.
- Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
- Experience leading integration and test activities for complex software systems.
- Experience working within a defined integration and test development lifecycle.
- Hands-on integration experience with large, distributed, or real-time systems.
- Experience working in UNIX and/or Linux environments.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate formal test events.
- Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external government stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes regression testing, root cause analysis, data reduction and analysis, and change validation.
- Preferred qualifications include formal government acceptance-testing experience, systems engineering practices, and air traffic domain knowledge.
