Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end application development across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
- Optimize CI/CD deployment strategies and support automated releases.
- Implement data pipeline solutions with data engineering collaborators in production environments.
- Develop scalable, reliable, secure, and observable backend services and APIs.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML technologies to data pipeline solutions.
- Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation.
- Support application testing and debugging across environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with horizontal scaling, autoscaling, and load balancing.
- Basic understanding of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js and backend frameworks such as Django, Node.js, or Flask.
- Preferred qualifications include Pandas and NumPy knowledge; AWS, GCP, Azure, or Google Cloud experience; Docker and Kubernetes experience; Terraform familiarity; understanding of data structures and algorithms; and familiarity with AI/ML RAG.
