Responsibilities
- Build the next generation of Visual Intelligence features across computer vision, machine learning, sensor fusion, simulation and evaluation pipelines, APIs, and backend software components.
- Develop primarily in Swift as part of a highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary team.
- Help shape system experiences across the Apple ecosystem and contribute to Apple’s future Apple Intelligence roadmap.
Requirements
- 0–10 years of professional software-writing experience.
- Experience with computer vision, real-time perception, digital signal processing, camera or sensor pipelines, sensor fusion, ISPs, robotics, or related technologies combining sensor hardware, software, and machine learning.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and learn from both successes and failures.
- Swift, Xcode, and Apple developer API experience is preferred.
- A background in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, plus experience shipping software, is preferred.
- Experience with computer vision, machine learning, digital signal processing, or robotics is preferred; a strong software-development track record may also qualify.
