Responsibilities
- Analyze Cúram solution requirements and functional design documents to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, system integration, regression, manual, and automated testing for Cúram web-based applications.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with testing strategy.
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, RTC, or similar tools; participate in defect triage and drive resolution.
- Develop and support automated regression test suites and integrate automated scripts into deployment workflows.
- Validate data integrity and application logic by writing and executing SQL queries against relational databases.
- Generate test execution reports and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify design gaps and ensure test coverage.
- Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 2–8 years of manual and/or automated QA testing experience in enterprise software environments.
- Strong understanding of Cúram Social Program Management and experience with functional testing, defect lifecycle management, and test case management.
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying DB2, Oracle, or MySQL relational databases.
- Understanding of XML syntax, structure, and validation for API testing, plus expertise using SoapUI.
- Experience testing web applications, including UI and backend validation, and proficiency with web-based test management tools, especially Rational Quality Manager.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Preferred qualifications include large-scale Cúram implementation experience, Selenium/Java test automation, JavaScript, TestCafe or similar tools, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and automated script integration into deployment workflows.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, time-management, prioritization, and independent-working skills.
