Responsibilities
- Own the frontend of the Convogent platform across voice, chat, live assist, in-app assist, and post-call analytics.
- Build and maintain graph-authoring canvases, including drag-and-drop authoring, configuration schemas, validation, graph state, undo, and versioning.
- Develop real-time dashboards, streaming transcripts, and in-browser test conversations using high-frequency updates.
- Build scalable, filterable, virtualized data-dense views for conversation history, analytics, evaluations, and conversation intelligence.
- Make product and UX decisions independently and shape the shared design system, component architecture, typed API contracts, tokens, theming, and governance.
- Implement client-side UX enforcement for roles, SSO, and tenant-scoped views over server-side access boundaries.
- Support deployments into both company-hosted and customer clouds with environment-specific configuration.
- Establish end-to-end test coverage, CI, error monitoring, and performance budgets.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and define frontend standards for the growing team.
Requirements
- 4+ years building production frontend applications, including depth in data-intensive or complex-interaction products.
- Deep experience with React, including hooks, context, component architecture, and render behavior.
- Strong TypeScript experience across components, API contracts, and shared libraries.
- Experience building a genuinely complex interactive surface such as a canvas, graph editor, builder, or timeline.
- Ability to independently design product experiences and shape a design system without predefined mockups.
- Fluency with WebSockets or SSE and complex asynchronous state.
- Experience owning a component system used by other engineers; experience sharing one across multiple products or teams is a plus.
- Experience introducing production discipline such as an end-to-end suite, CI pipeline, error monitoring, or performance budget.
- Fluency with agentic coding tools.
- Experience with scalable, user-centric products rather than primarily marketing websites or conventional CRUD applications.
