Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance business-critical applications and services.
- Own assigned features and components from implementation through deployment and production support.
- Troubleshoot software defects and production issues while monitoring application performance and reliability.
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, reduce technical debt, and improve system quality.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, implementation planning, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, Operations, DevOps, and platform teams.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code understanding, debugging, testing, documentation, and prototyping while reviewing generated output for quality and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience building and maintaining production applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend and/or backend web development.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or equivalent, Docker, and networking concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed environment.
- Preferred: experience with cloud platforms, containerized and distributed systems, serverless technologies, event-driven architectures, messaging, asynchronous processing, NoSQL, caching, CI/CD, application security, and software design patterns.
- Preferred: exposure to Kubernetes, Material UI/MUI, PHP, AngularJS, Java, or C#.
