Base Salary
$110k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance backend services.
- Own and evolve market data ingestion and processing pipelines.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
- Contribute to architecture decisions involving microservices and event-driven systems.
- Ensure system reliability through observability and incident response.
- Collaborate with frontend, data science, and product teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with data-intensive systems, both batch and real-time.
- Hands-on experience building and scaling data pipelines and streaming systems.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar storage systems.
- Familiarity with market data feeds and electronic trading platforms is a plus.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
