Responsibilities
- Own and evolve shared front-end platforms, frameworks, visual tools, UI shells, and related back-end services across multiple products and pipelines.
- Drive consistent branding, interaction patterns, visual identity, and user experiences across Protegrity’s security product portfolio.
- Provide architectural leadership for front-end and back-end integration, including APIs, authentication, contracts, data flows, and operability.
- Set direction for cloud-based UI architecture on Azure and AWS using cloud-native design patterns and modern security standards.
- Uphold high standards for UI quality, WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility, performance, security, and visual consistency.
- Lead improvements to build, review, testing, release, and operational workflows for predictable and scalable delivery.
- Use agent-based and AI-assisted development tools and automation to improve development efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, UX, and other cross-functional partners through planning, reviews, demos, forums, and ongoing communication.
- Mentor and develop other engineers while serving as a senior technical leader and delivery enabler.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of modern front-end engineering experience with HTML5, CSS/SASS, React.js, and TypeScript.
- Complementary full-stack experience with back-end services and databases.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience implementing client-side security best practices and owning long-term architectural decisions.
- Experience collaborating across global teams, mentoring others, and navigating time zone constraints.
- Strong critical-thinking, creative problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Experience in data security environments and products is preferred.
- Experience using AI and ML, prompts, documents, and natural language processing concepts for intelligent product experiences is preferred.
- DevOps and operational experience with CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, Docker, Kubernetes, environment management, monitoring, and production support is preferred.
- Experience with code quality inspection, security scanning, JFrog Xray, and SonarQube is preferred.
