Responsibilities
- Define the multi-year strategy and technical vision for Nubank’s end-to-end Developer Experience and Quality platforms.
- Architect internal developer platforms, boundary APIs, test automation suites, pull request review systems, linting, and automated approval mechanisms.
- Lead AI-driven code review evolution using multi-model evaluations, IDE and GitHub integrations, deterministic checks, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Establish observability, defect-tracking metrics, safety rails, and standards that preserve system integrity during AI-assisted development.
- Partner with engineers and product managers, mentor technical teams, and drive horizontal technical alignment across the organization.
- Evaluate market tools, AI coding frameworks, and internal platforms to determine build-versus-buy decisions.
Requirements
- Backend software engineering experience with a proven record designing developer platforms, core infrastructure, or Developer Experience systems at high scale.
- Extensive expertise in code review systems, test automation platforms, CI/CD pipelines, developer platforms, or static analysis tools for large engineering organizations.
- Hands-on experience or deep technical familiarity with AI-assisted software development, including LLM evaluation pipelines, GitHub Copilot or agent integrations, prompt/context/graph engineering, or AI-driven code review frameworks.
- A demonstrated history of independently driving technical strategy, navigating ambiguity, and establishing strong technical standards.
- Experience in fast-moving, high-bar environments such as major technology companies, high-growth AI or DevEx startups, or advanced AI laboratories.
