Base Salary

Responsibilities

Design and implement developer-platform infrastructure, centralized developer portals, and tools that reduce developer cognitive overhead.
Manage the AWS footprint, including multi-region availability, disaster recovery, and cost-efficiency improvements.
Define Infrastructure as Code patterns and maintain reusable modules used across the engineering organization.
Develop and optimize Kubernetes operators and controllers for automated stateful services, high availability, and performance.
Build automated security controls and policy-as-code to support platform compliance.
Identify infrastructure friction points and build tools that improve developer experience.
Support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, mentoring, and technical leadership.
Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements, identify dependencies, and mitigate technical risks.

5+ years of relevant experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, including reusable modules and state management at scale.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, networking, storage, and service mesh architectures.
Production experience implementing GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or Flux.
Strong automation and scripting experience with technologies such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IAM, compute, networking, and storage layers.
Experience maintaining and optimizing CI pipelines.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to peers and stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate in an environment where architectural decisions are discussed and debated.
Willingness to mentor peers and share technical knowledge.
