Responsibilities

  • Triage, debug, and resolve client issues across frontend applications, backend services, integrations, data flows, and production deployments.
  • Implement client-specific configurations, workflow changes, customizations, and bug fixes in the TypeScript/Node.js and React codebase.
  • Investigate issues using logs, monitoring, database queries, test environments, and EHR/data integrations.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, communicate root causes and status, and escalate issues to core engineering when needed.
  • Identify recurring client problems and build product improvements, internal tools, scripts, and automations to reduce repeat work.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and internal documentation.
  • Handle client and patient data according to HIPAA and the company’s security practices.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer, support engineer, or solutions engineer working on production B2B SaaS.
  • Working experience reading and modifying TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and React codebases.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, with solid SQL skills; Postgres is preferred.
  • Familiarity with RESTful or RPC-based APIs, AWS or similar cloud platforms, logging and monitoring tools, and ticketing systems such as Linear, Jira, Zendesk, or Pylon.
  • Experience working directly with customers, managing escalations, and owning issues through resolution.
  • Familiarity with LLM-based products and interest in using AI tools for debugging and issue resolution.
  • Healthcare or regulated-environment experience involving sensitive data, HIPAA, or PHI is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate technical root causes and fixes clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be based in New York and available to work in-office approximately 3 days per week.
