Responsibilities
- Embed with Salesforce product teams to define delivery scope and outcomes for complex engineering work.
- Own technical delivery of complex features, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment coordination, and production support.
- Design Salesforce solutions across service, platform, commerce, integrations, data models, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Build Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flow solutions using maintainable platform capabilities.
- Apply Service Cloud and Service Console expertise to contact center workflows, case handling, agent integrations, and customer context.
- Design and deliver Agentforce and AI-enabled capabilities that connect customer context between AI and human support.
- Diagnose application and integration issues, resolve performance and reliability problems, and address recurring technical debt.
- Review code and solution designs, mentor engineers, and improve testing, documentation, observability, and maintainability.
- Partner with the Salesforce Platform team on shared data models, permissions, reusable components, environment strategy, and coordinated releases.
- Document design decisions, transfer implementation knowledge, and establish support ownership across team assignments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience with independent delivery of complex solutions through production support.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL, and the Salesforce data model.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Service Cloud and Service Console, including case management, agent workflows, and contact center integrations.
- Experience designing Salesforce solutions and making architectural decisions for complex business processes and integrations.
- Experience designing API integrations, including authentication, asynchronous processing, failure handling, and data consistency.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform limits, performance, testing, security, and maintainable software design.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and coordinated releases in a shared Salesforce environment.
- Ability to guide technical decisions, review code, mentor colleagues, and explain tradeoffs to technical and business partners.
- A degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Order Management, B2B Commerce, CPQ, Omni-Channel, Salesforce Knowledge, entitlements, milestones, contact center channels, or order-to-cash processes.
- Preferred experience with Agentforce, agent assistance, customer-context transfer between AI and human support, diagnostic platforms, AWS services, or Boomi.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.

- Base salary range of $165,000-$206,000, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.
