Responsibilities
- Design and implement proof-of-concept features in a cloud-based web architecture.
- Write and deploy code in a cloud-based microservice architecture.
- Create unit, integration, and post-deployment tests.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams on engineering tasks.
- Communicate openly and adhere to Genesys’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Requirements
- Demonstrable understanding of scalability and availability in distributed systems.
- Knowledge of REST API backend services.
- Experience with JavaScript and software engineering principles.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good collaboration and listening skills.
- Preferred knowledge of AWS services including Dynamo, S3, SQS, and SNS; Java; TypeScript; Git; networking concepts; and digital communication channels such as SMS, Facebook, Twitter, Line, and WhatsApp.
