Base Salary
$149k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new components and frameworks for distributed filesystems.
- Develop efficient components and algorithms for a multi-tenant SaaS cloud distributed filesystem environment.
- Write high-quality, production-ready code for Salesforce’s cloud platform.
- Design and develop distributed systems at scale using queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Mastery of programming languages and platforms, including Java and Python.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Trino.
- Experience developing SaaS products over public cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming, software development best practices, and leadership skills.
- Preferred: experience with big data or ML, S3, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Preferred: experience working in a high-paced, rapidly growing multinational organization.
