Base Salary
$170k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop Shepherd's AI product strategy in collaboration with other engineers.
- Iterate and experiment on AI implementation across the platform.
- Work across the stack and different disciplines, including underwriting and product management.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to building company culture.
- Balance innovation with pragmatic delivery of quality products.
- Contribute to product strategy and architectural decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer with a track record of delivering high-impact products.
- Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript for both backend and frontend development.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in taking end-to-end ownership of features and systems.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excited about shipping products frequently.
- Strong opinions that are weakly held, advocating for ideas while being open to better solutions.
