Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize software tools that improve generated RTL and accelerate hardware compilation and EDA tools.
  • Profile and resolve software performance bottlenecks to speed optimization and synthesis cycles.
  • Collaborate with hardware architects, compiler engineers, and ML researchers to connect high-level representations with optimized RTL.
  • Develop scalable automation scripts and software libraries for RTL generation and optimization workflows.
  • Work with product engineering teams to bring software tools to production quality.
  • Create agent-testing systems using 2D and 3D games, physics simulators, visualizations, leaderboards, and robots.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Eight years of programming experience in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go.
  • Eight years of experience with SystemVerilog, hardware design, automation, and design verification testing.
  • Three years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Three years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
  • Three years of experience with enterprise-class hardware systems design.
  • Preferred experience with data center engineering and server, storage, and networking products.
  • Preferred master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
