Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation frameworks for data testing and regression testing.
- Create automated test cases for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Validate data quality using SQL and large-scale datasets.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution processes.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Analyze and troubleshoot test failures and data quality issues.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data models.
- Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong SQL and data validation expertise.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test execution.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Great Expectations, dbt Tests, PyTest, or Selenium is preferred.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or large enterprise data environments is preferred.
