Base Salary
$184k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact full-stack initiatives across Decisioning Studio, including agent setup, creative and launch workflows, reporting, and ML-connected services.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and ML Engineering to turn the AI product roadmap into intuitive and reliable software.
- Build dashboard user interfaces, data models, APIs, background jobs, and services end to end.
- Lead web application architecture efforts focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap through technical insights and user-experience innovation.
- Mentor engineers, guide technical growth, and foster a high-performance culture of quality.
- Support teams implementing Braze’s AI solutions to facilitate customer success and collaboration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience with a strong record of delivering impact.
- Strong full-stack capability, including designing and building data models, APIs, and background jobs.
- Strong frontend development experience with TypeScript and React; Vue experience is a plus.
- Strong background designing and maintaining scalable web application architectures.
- Experience using AI coding agents as a default workflow and building reusable skills and automation to improve team velocity.
- Ability to write clear design documents and technical proposals and explain complex systems to varied stakeholders.
- User-centric approach and commitment to exceptional user experiences and maintainable code.
- Ability to navigate large codebases, drive consensus on technical decisions, and mentor engineers.
- Preferred: experience developing user experiences for machine-learning and data-intensive applications.
- Preferred: experience building product surfaces on top of LLMs and agentic systems, including embeddings, agent orchestration, and evaluation.
- Preferred: experience with Python and/or Ruby on Rails.
