Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain RAG pipelines covering document processing, embedding generation, retrieval configuration, and prompt assembly.
- Integrate LLMs into applications using APIs and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain API-based data retrieval and system integrations.
- Deploy and maintain self-hosted LLMs.
- Conduct red teaming of LLM alignment.
- Perform independent technical research and evaluate emerging AI/ML approaches.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph clearance.
- At least 8 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 7 years with a master’s degree, or 6 years with a doctorate.
- Experience developing AI/ML applications focused on RAG, semantic retrieval, LLM integration, or related AI workflows.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML libraries, frameworks, and API integrations.
- Advanced analytical problem-solving and the ability to rapidly learn and apply new AI/ML methodologies.
- Preferred qualifications include advanced research in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, generative AI, reinforcement learning, computer vision, or related disciplines.
- Preferred qualifications include research publications, open-source AI/ML contributions, experimental or prototype leadership, model evaluation, fine-tuning, inference optimization, AI observability, vector databases, AWS, Docker, and scalable data architectures.
