Base Salary
$75k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute, maintain, and collaborate on test cases, including adding and editing cases.
- Investigate, report, and track software and hardware bugs and verify bug fixes.
- Review bug reports, logs, architecture, requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to improve testability and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to identify test coverage.
- Provide weekly reports on task progress and logged bugs.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in a QA or testing position.
- Experience writing test cases and test plans and implementing test strategy.
- Experience reviewing logs to determine the root cause of bugs.
- Competency with command-line tools and commonly used bug-tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis.
- Experience with Android debugging tools.
- Experience with automated and manual testing methodologies.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and quality assurance.
- Clear, accurate, and succinct written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
