Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software for ground systems and real-time space mission capabilities.
- Modernize legacy applications into microservice-based architectures.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Create solutions to complex problems within collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
- Work primarily onsite at a Booz Allen or customer facility in Aurora, Colorado.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience using languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
- Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized microservice-based architecture.
- Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples for existing applications.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred experience with Agile environments, Linux-based systems, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred experience with C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and automated testing tools.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
