Responsibilities
- Define QA strategy, architecture, and execution for software, web, and mobile product lines.
- Design, develop, and execute automated and functional test suites across supported platforms and programming languages.
- Build backend integration tests, API tests, integration tests, regression tests, stress tests, and web/UI tests.
- Develop test frameworks for data pipeline validation and streaming data processing.
- Establish testing standards, procedures, process controls, and quality improvement practices.
- Identify application risks and errors and collaborate with development, QA, product owners, and other stakeholders on test planning.
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and operations of enterprise-scale testing frameworks and processes.
- Document testing procedures and translate product requirements into test cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a test engineer focused on manual and automated testing.
- 5+ years of experience and deep understanding of programming in Java, Python, Groovy, or other languages.
- 3+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks, Selenium, Cucumber, and Jenkins.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale testing framework architecture, development, operations, processes, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, software testing principles, verification and validation techniques, and test management.
- Experience with behavior-driven development, test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, microservices-based API testing, and load testing tools.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira and test management tools such as TestRail or Xray.
- Experience working in cloud ecosystems such as AWS or Azure and in continuous delivery environments.
- Network management systems testing and telecommunications experience are preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, documentation, project planning, implementation, collaboration, and change-management skills.
