Responsibilities
- Design and develop software systems, tools, services, and distribution structures for Amazon’s cross-border commerce business.
- Own software design, documentation, development, delivery, and operational support for systems built in AWS.
- Solve complex and ambiguous problems using data and rapidly develop innovative solutions.
- Monitor metrics and audit inputs and business outcomes, automating monitoring where possible.
- Collaborate with leaders and cross-functional partners to improve global product selection, purchasing, and distribution experiences.
- Ensure solutions support Global Trade and Product Compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
