Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, services, APIs, and integrations.
- Build and support microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging-based solutions.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and containerized applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver technical and business requirements.
- Write maintainable, efficient, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security while troubleshooting production issues.
- Support cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
- Contribute to platform, data, and AI initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, C#, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
- Experience developing REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, microservices, or backend applications, with knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases, AWS, Azure, or GCP, and deployment practices involving Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and messaging technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include SaaS or enterprise software experience; exposure to AI, machine learning, LLMs, RAG, automation, or data platforms; and experience with Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
- Preferred qualifications also include knowledge of security, identity, RBAC, authentication, and authorization; experience in enterprise industries; and mentoring, technical project leadership, or Agile/Scrum experience.
